Sergio Balassone
Sergio Balassone is Head of Unipreneurship at 28DIGITAL (formerly EIT Digital), where he leads initiatives aimed at transforming deep-tech research into scalable ventures across Europe. He is also the cofounder of the Innovation Laboratory at Tractebel Engineering in Belgium established to accelerate innovation in the energy domain. His work focuses on bridging research, entrepreneurship, and investment, with particular interest in digital transformation, energy innovation, and venture development ecosystems. Sergio holds an Executive MBA from INSEAD (Institut Européen d’Administration des Affaires).
