Beyond traditional cable glands
Roxtec systems represent a smart solution for sealing multiple cables compared to using one cable gland per individual cable. With Roxtec transits, it is in fact possible to seal dozens of cables through a single opening.
Roxtec High Density (Roxtec HD)
One of Roxtec’s solutions is represented by the Roxtec HD (High Density) transits, designed for applications that require the use of a large number of cables in limited surface areas.
The Roxtec HD range includes three solutions—Roxtec HD 16, HD 32, and the latest addition, HD 72—designed to handle an increasing number of cables in confined spaces. In particular, the HD 72 model allows up to 72 armored or unarmored cables to be sealed through a single opening.
A single hole designed for a Roxtec HD kit can therefore replace up to 72 traditional cable glands, with a significant impact on space optimization and installation simplification.
This high-density configuration increases cabling capacity by approximately 40% compared to conventional systems, while simultaneously reducing weight, overall dimensions, and total costs.
